Genealogy is all about research. Establishing a person, in a certain place and time. This is accomplished by collecting all pertinent documents we can find. Like – death, marriage, and birth certificates. Sometimes, non are to be found, in which case we look at city directories, census, land records, or biographies and past genealogies. Missing children are sometimes found through wills, cemetery records, or obituaries. To establish parental lines we use DNA matches to help support the hypothesis. Similar family charts and family stories are used to corroborate known family information. 

We start with the living and work our way back, and sometimes we start with the 4th, 5th, or even 6th generation and work our way forward. All information is proven reliable and is skillfully correlated and interpreted into its correct place in the family tree. If any information comes to light to be contradictory to the facts shown, it must be resolved before an overall conclusion can be made to include this new information. This is factual, reliable proof.
